Officers shall have the authority to enforce laws on the waterways of the Inner-Harbor Navigational Canal from the Mississippi River to Lake Pontchartrain in addition to the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet from the Inner-Harbor Navigational Canal to the Michoud Canal and Bayou Bienvenue.

 
 

The jurisdiction of the Harbor Police Department, along the Mississippi River, extends from mile marker 115.0, which is the boundary line between the parishes of Jefferson and St. Charles, and mile marker 82.1, commonly called lower nine mile point, which is the boundary between the parishes of Orleans, Plaquemines, and St. Bernard.
